A Maritime Lecture not to be missed. The story of how competitive amateur sailing was first practiced, and how the rules of the sport, which are used on a world-wide basis today, were first written, all in dublin bay. Hal Sisk is a maritime historian with a unique knowledge of the history of sailing. His lecture is superbly illustrated with a great many wonderful and historic images of sailing in dublin bay, many of which are from the Hafield collection of glass slides from the nineteenth century.
